About Us

RestoreMe is an easy to use, online clinic with a dedicated team of health professionals who have many years of experience treating New Zealand Patients with traditional, and untraditional methods.

Our Vision

RestoreMe is an innovative new online clinic lead by a group of qualified health professionals, that makes accessing high quality medicinal cannabinoid products easier and more affordable for those who need it.

Through a streamlined process, patients register online and undergo an online consultation with a health professional where it is determined whether medicinal cannabinoid is a suitable treatment option.

If approved, patients are given a low-cost prescription they can take to any pharmacy to get their medication, or have it delivered directly to them.

Chief Medical Officer

56 years old born in Iran & I am proud of my Persian heritage, history and culture (pre 1979 invasion) I’m married and have 3 lovely young boys aged 8, 7 and 4. My wife believes I’m a good cook and I enjoy preparing our Persian cuisine. Educated as a specialist in general practice from Copenhagen university of medicine, lived in Denmark for 20 years, relocated to Norway (best ski slopes in Scandinavia ) and re-certified as GP specialist in Norway. In 2008 I initiated start-up of a new GP practice in Oslo, after 8 years in Norway. I was recruited to New Zealand to service a lovely rural community in Mangawhai. Highlight of my career was working in several remote areas on Greenland where I enjoyed the rugged nature and providing healthcare for the indigenous people of Greenland. I am a true generalist; I am interested in all aspects of Family medicine both physical and mental health in all age groups. I have worked in different medical systems in Hospitals, A&Es and general practices and am a certified cognitive behavioural therapist. A libertarian by heart I am a passionate believer that a society can only reach its full potential if individual freedoms & responsibilities go hand in hand. I have a sharpened sense for justice and oppose any irrational and forceful implementation of ideological restrictions inhibiting progress in health or living standards of the communities.

Resident Doctor

I was born and raised in Germany into a family of doctors, both my father and mother worked in their own General Practice. After my schooling I left Germany to study at Cornelll University In New York State. I Graduated in 1978 and worked as a consultant to a large company that owned and managed 'Care for the Elderly' facilities and 'Retirement Villages'. My job was to restructure Nursing Home's from their institutional character to hospitality-oriented facilities. In early January 1986 my husband and I immigrated to New Zealand with our children. I have always wanted to live here since I was 7 years old. Both my husband and I worked at Massey University. I spent one and a half years in the Management Department before I decided to apply to medical school in New Zealand. I moved to Dunedin, Otago with my children and started studies at the medical school at age 35. After graduation and obligatory hospital years I was invited into a new practice. Unfortunately, I had to learn fast and had to work as a solo practitioner and manage the practice for 15 years. Sometimes this is the very best way to learn. I consolidated the practice in 2010 with another practice in the area and have enjoyed working as a salaried doctor for the last 13 years. During my years as a GP one of my special interests became very early on the care of adults and young adults with pain, psychological problems, sleep disorders and autoimmune conditions. When I received a letter from RESTOREME Clinic to register my interest to work with the organization I became immediately interested. As doctors we prescribe a number of very effective medications for pain and anxiety and other conditions. Often these medications come with significant side effects. Prescribing cannabinoids as an adjunct or on its own can and does give us as prescribers a new and exciting option to help people.

Nurse

I have been nursing for 26 years, working predominantly as an emergency nurse. I spent 9 years doing fly in fly out to Australia working in the emergency departments at rural hospitals. Just before covid hit, I decided to settle back down in NZ and I began working as a telehealth nurse. I have always been interested in herbal medicine, especially medicinal cannabis and how it is used to manage a range of conditions. With recent regulatory changes it has made medicinal cannabis much more accessible to patients in New Zealand. I wanted to work as a nurse at the Restoreme clinic because it is a young and innovative company. The clinics are run by very experienced doctors. New Zealand has only just begun its relationship with medicinal cannabis, it's a field that I want to be part of.
